Plenty of people are being orphaned by hate. Kids kicked out of their homes for coming out. People who deconstructed from oppressive faiths, but they had to leave behind their families and everything they've ever believed. And those who just had to get out of their toxic families. A good thing about social media is it helps these people find each other, heal together, and build new and healthier families.
